Business Support Manager
London Centre for Intuitive Eating
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a full time and permanent Business Support Manager at London Centre for Intuitive Eating.
We are looking for a qualified registered nutritionist or dietitian to join our expanding team to help with day-day business operations. The role would be well suited to a recent graduate who is a fantastic communicator, is social media savvy and interested in the intersection of nutrition and practice management.
This exciting role will require an active participation in the day-to-day activities associated with the running of our practice, including supporting online course participants and developing new course content and client facing resources. As such, a team orientated approach to work and experience in public facing nutrition communication is also desirable.
This unique role covers a variety of key business related activities, including social media and newsletter content writing and planning, scheduling client appointments and greeting clients at our clinic in East London. The successful candidate will also help schedule and manage a timetable of activities and workshops in our new wellbeing space, and will also help develop a small retail offering.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size and be social justice oriented. They will receive training on the clinical aspects of this work.

Responsibilities:
- Marketing LCIE products and services via our social media platforms; including planning, creating and scheduling social media and newsletter content.
- Lead generation; liaising with NHS trusts and private practice.
- Client care; greet clients on arrival in our East London clinic, help them book or reschedule appointments and manage enquiries.
- Help manage and run online courses and Facebook groups.
- Organise and eventually facilitate group workshops on various aspects of Intuitive Eating.
- General administrative duties.
- Plan and manage a calendar of events in our new wellbeing space.
- Support other team members in the development of accessible client and clinician information sheets, covering a range of different nutrition-related issues from a non-diet perspective.
Qualifications & skills:
Must have a minimum of a BSc in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or similar health care profession (e.g. psychology).
Must be eligible for registration or already registered with either:
Association for Nutrition (A/RNutr) or
Health Care Professions Council (RD).
Must have strong professional interest in intuitive eating, Health at Every Size and Non-Diet Nutrition. Must have knowledge of non-diet approach and demonstrate understanding of weight-inclusive paradigm and be able to communicate these ideas clearly to a lay audience.
You will be well organised, self-motivated, driven and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team. You will also be creative and be able to communicate clearly.
Must be personable and compassionate and help make clients feel welcome at the clinic.
Must have excellent computer literacy skills. Experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, Canva, Vimeo, Buffer, Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint and social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are advantageous.
Desirable:
Intuitive Eating Counsellor or lay facilitator.
Interest in child feeding from an Intuitive Eating perspective (i.e. responsive feeding, Division of Responsibility)
Experience with public facing nutrition communication
Experience delivering group nutrition education
Experience with Adobe suite of software such as Photoshop or Illustrator

Remuneration parameters:
This is a full-time, permanent role – 40 hours/week.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am – 6pm. Thursday 11am – 8pm.
Starting salary: £25,000 – 28,000. Your salary will reflect your level of experience and will be reviewed annually.
