Anti Diet Riot Club is bringing the fight against Diet Culture to Shoreditch once again, but this time we’re going to explore how to eat once you’ve STOPPED dieting (or at least, if you’re considering stopping but maybe you’re scared to let go for good!)
For this we’re recruiting the expertise of Laura Thomas, PHD who will be giving us the lowdown on Intuitive Eating, the philosophy that allows us to trust our bodies in choosing what to eat and maintaining a weight that is healthy and sustainable for us an individual. Laura will be showig us how, after we ditch the diets and throw out the rulebooks, we can start to relearn our body’s natural hunger and fullness signals, make peace with/find enjoyment from food & exercise, and respect our bodies!
If you don’t know already, Laura is a Registered Nutrionist, founder of the London Centre for Intuitive Eating, host of our favourite Don’t Salt My Game podcast AND a no-bullshit, badass anti-diet advocate….in other words, she’s the perfect person to give this intro workshop into the world of IE. Check out her instagram where she cuttingly dismantles the misinformation and utter crap that comes with Diet Culture on a daily basis.
Maybe you’ve never heard of Intuitive Eating, or maybe you want to learn practically how to incorporate it into your daily eating rituals….this informative workshop will lay it all out for beginners with plenty of pratical tips to take home! AND in typical Anti Diet Riot Club fashion, there will be opportunities to be creative, self-reflective, to share your struggles and to ask plenty of questions…all in a safe, non-judgemental and FAT-SHAMING FREE zone.
BOOM!
